This Privacy Policy explains what information Mondrus Computer Consulting Services Inc. (“Mondrus”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the publisher of Lialy, collects when you use the Lialy app for iOS (the “App”), how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices and rights you have.
Lialy is a family diary for parents: you can keep profiles of your children, record moods, height and weight, save quotes and notes, view insights and export a PDF memory book. Everything you write in Lialy is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account. It is never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see it.

When you use the App, you may enter:
This content is stored locally on your device and, if iCloud is enabled for the App, in the private database of your iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, so it can sync between your devices. iCloud storage is provided by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Data in your private iCloud database is accessible only with your Apple ID: we do not have access to it, and we do not collect, view or store it.
When you add a profile photo, the App uses the iOS photo picker. The App receives only the photo you choose and does not get access to the rest of your photo library. The photo is stored together with your diary content as described in Section 2.1.
PDF memory books are generated on your device. A PDF leaves your device only if you choose to share or save it using the iOS share sheet, and in that case it goes to the app or service you select.
To understand how the App is used and to fix problems, the App uses Google Firebase. Unless you turn this off (see Section 5), the following information is collected automatically:
Usage events never include your child’s name, photo, date of birth, measurement values, or the text of your quotes and notes. A child’s age and gender are sent only as general statistics that help us understand which age groups use the App. They are not linked to your name, email or Apple ID, or to any other details of the child’s profile.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card or billing details. The App receives information about the transaction itself from Apple (product, purchase date, subscription status and expiration date) to give you access to premium features.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your name (if included), the content of your message and any attachments. Emails sent with the “Contact us” button in the App also include your device model, operating system version, app version and Firebase installation ID, so we can help you faster. You can delete this information from the message before you send it.
We do not sell your personal information, do not use it for advertising, and do not show ads in the App.
We share information only with the following providers, who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies:

We may also disclose information (a) if required by law or a valid request from public authorities; (b) to protect our rights or users’ safety, or to investigate fraud; or (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. In that last case, we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses used by our providers.
You can view, edit and delete your diary content directly in the App at any time, and turn off usage statistics as described in Section 5.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Email us at garny.support@garny.io. We will respond within 30 days (or within the period required by applicable law). Because the App has no accounts and we cannot access your iCloud data, we may ask for your Firebase installation ID, which is included automatically when you use the “Contact us” button. This lets us locate the usage data held by our providers.
Lialy is intended for parents and caregivers, not for children. The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Information about a child is entered by the parent or caregiver, who decides what to record. It is stored only on the parent’s device and in the parent’s iCloud account, and is not available to us. The only child-related information we receive is the general age (in whole years) and gender statistics described in Section 2.4, which are not linked to the child’s identity. You can turn them off at any time. If you believe we hold personal information from a child, contact us at garny.support@garny.io and we will delete it.
Your diary is protected by your device’s security and by Apple’s iCloud security. All network requests made by the App, including to Firebase, use encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your device and Apple ID secure.
The App and this policy may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If the changes are material, we will notify you in the App before they take effect.
